Loris Azzaro was born and bred at Bradstone Stud. He was backed at and was in 'easy' training with Achim Neubert in Germany between April 2008 and March 2010 with a long brake at grass Summer 2009. Loris is a big horse who has been given time to develop. He is well behaved and a very gentle horse with good and correct movements.

Loris has regained his 'uphill' posture, looks absolutely fantastic and has 'filled his frame' after being gelded spring 2009. He was returned home to Bradstone Grange for grazing during summer 2010.

Loris is in training since autumn 2010 with Andre Hecker at Schillerslage, Germany (near Hannover airport) to be trained at a higher level and is now ready to be sold. Andre is a Grand Prix competitor but also a specialist in educating young horses. Andre was 5th at the German Grand prix Championships 2011 for senior riders.

Loris would be ideal for a rider looking for a good, big and gentle horse who is very well trained and thus ideal as a 'schoolmaster' to later compete with at affiliated medium (or higher) level. Loris is a good quality horse but not seen as top-end for dressage and we are thus willing to sell him at a very reasonable price!

This is an uncomplicated, intelligent and happy horse who wants to please. Loris is ridden/trained daily with Andre in the saddle and he is improving day-to-day. Loris is currently doing lateral work in trot/canter, counter-canter and changes. We can assist should any buyer wish to continue Loris and/or their own training with Andre as his is a very professional & 'happy' stable.

Loris is a 'close friend' and it is very important for us that he is sold to the right new home.

Loris Azzaros dam, Palma Campina was sold as one of the top lots at the Verden Elite Auction Autumn 1996. Palma has the most wonderful temperament, conformation and gaits. One of our most well known International dressage riders and judges said "it is such a great pity that Palma Campina did not end up with a rider willing or able to bring her on to the top in dressage" but this is our gain as she is such a world class broodmare performer.

Palma is a born leader but is very kind to those who treat her with due respect. She has been described "as a big cat" in her movements. She produces stunning forward-going individuals with amazing gaits & flexibility for dressage with positive intelligence.
